Shut the Front Door is a well-loved gift and homewares store, with many locations around Aotearoa New Zealand. Every year they create a Christmas and summer gifting campaign as this is one of the busiest times of the year for the business.

A vibrant creative direction for the 2020 year-end campaign was developed. The concept focused on the idea of sharing the feeling of connection found within the home at this time of year. A joyful, colourful celebration of togetherness and gifting. Bright, natural light, and colourful, vibrant backdrops were used to give a sense of celebration and summer warmth. With shadows, fruit and florals utilised to emphasise the feeling of a quintessential Kiwi summer and warm Christmas cheer. Across the Christmas specific gifting guides, simple and bold paper sheets were used to create dynamic shapes and forms around the items. Helping to give a feeling of gifting and unwrapping. A graphic direction was developed to work in unison with the imagery, this ran across the website, social media, and in-store POS.
